Personally I find it helpful to know the tools that someone is using in their business. There really isn’t a better way to know if a product or service is good unless someone is ACTUALLY using it!

I use HostGator and have for several years. For three main reasons. First, they are super reliable. Second, they provide excellent customer support. Lastly, they do it all for a very fair price.
In my opinion, there are only 3-5 really good web hosts out there. And HostGator is one of them.
Buying Domain Names
While 1&1 is not a top quality web hosting company they are one of the best to buy domain names.
The reasons I buy domain names from 1&1 is because they are cheap and they offer to keep your information private for no extra charge! This alone can save you hundreds of dollars each year depending on how many domain names you own. In comparison, GoDaddy charges for this service and it almost doubles the cost of the domain.
Email Marketing – Autoresponder Service
I have used Aweber since my first day online. Since then there have been several new and quality autoresponder services available. The reason I stick with Aweber is because the price is fair and their deliverability is great. At least it has been for me. I definitely recommend Aweber.
I use RoboForm probably 30 times a day! This tool is a lifesaver. It saves your passwords and allows you to quickly and easily login to websites automatically – with just a click of a button.
Password security is very important. When you use RoboForm you don’t have to remember your passwords so you can make them very complicated so you won’t have to worry about someone or some kind of bot figuring out your passwords. Powerful stuff for sure!
Automated Follow Up System
I have been using SendOutCards (SOC) for the past few years to send out automated marketing messages to both clients and prospects. The best part about using this system is that there is almost 100% open rate! You see you can use SOC to send either postcards or real greeting cards. I usually always send greeting cards. Why? Have you ever not opened a greeting card? Of course not. That’s why this works so well! It’s an extremely effective way to market your business.
